While a dedicated detox plan is a great way to hit the “reset button” from time to time, it can be disruptive. 

Adding detox foods to your everyday diet is an easy way to help ease the burden that living in our modern environment puts on your body, when you aren’t able to go through a full detox regimen. When we find a recipe we love, we’ll share it with you… because it’s important that we all work together to help reclaim our health. 

Here’s our first detoxing recipe… and if you try it and love it, please pass it on to your friends and family!

Detoxing Chia Pudding

Ingredients:

6    tablespoons chia seeds

2    cups coconut milk

12  drops liquid stevia, or 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (or use another sweetener of your choice)

½   cup blueberries, fresh or frozen

½   tsp. all-natural vanilla

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat to a low boil, and simmer for 2-5 minutes until the blueberries soften and the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and allow the pudding to set for a few minutes.

Serve warm, or if you prefer you can chill the pudding before you eat it.

Chia seeds are a prebiotic and a great source of fiber. They help you feel full and slow digestion to create a steady release of nutrients and energy. A single serving of chia contains your entire daily fiber requirement!
